Zebras Care in Montreal

On January 23rd, prior to the Montreal Canadiens game versus the New York Rangers, Don Van Massenhoven, Dean Morton, Pierre Champoux and myself met a wonderful family from the Montreal area. Set up in conjunction with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, our special guest this night was 10 year old Lucca who is a self proclaimed hockey fanatic! Along his side this night was his brothers Massimo, age 7 and Matteo, age 4 as well as his parents Paolo and Linda. The whole family brightened our room with their spirit and energy. We could tell the kids could hardly wait to get to their seats and for the game to start.

After spending 10 or 15 minutes getting to know each other we finally convinced Lucca to cover up his Canadiens jersey with one of our Officials Jerseys. We then escorted the family out to ice level where we were able to take some pictures on the Bell Centre ice. It was quickly time for us to get prepared for the game but we told them we would give them a wave while we met at centre ice before the game. We would like to thank the family for their time. It was a night we will not soon forget!
