Zebras Care in Ottawa

Dave Jackson, Freddie L'Ecuyer, Greg Devorski and Brad Kovachik were fortunate enough to welcome three children from the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario to watch the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. the Ottawa Senators game on November 24th.

Bailey Vachon - Caswell along with her father Ian, Niall Barron and his father John and Jean - Francois Tremblay along with his father Frederick were escorted down to the officilas room prior to game where we all enjoyed some laughs and answered some questions from the group. After a quick behind the scenes tour they were shown to their seats and awaited our wave to them prior to the opening faceoff! Unfortunately, this was the game where Dave Jackson seriously injured his knee, however, it was our pleasure to meet these 3 families. This hospital touches many lives in this area of Ontario. Below is a brief description of CHEO.

"The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario is an academic pediatric hospital affiliated with the University of Ottawa, with a mandate for care, research and teaching. Over the past thirty years, CHEO has established itself as a world-class academic health sciences centre providing leading-edge treatment, diagnostic and laboratory services for children and youth aged 0 to 18 years. CHEO houses the Provincial Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health and the Ontario Newborn Screening Program. CHEO is an active partner in the Champlain Local Health Integration Network, providing leadership in all aspects of pediatric health and wellbeing"
